We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. I liked the way it looked, basically - I agree that he could be lighter but that comes with the expense of the too bright tiles. I suppose I could have worked with layers, but I wanted to keep it as "real" as possible, if you get what I mean.

colour would have worked more dramatically on this picture. Make no mistake, its a damn good picture...but i think it might be a tad too dark...I read you comments on making it darker....but you lost too much detail..
and since this is more journalistic than artistic..(IMHO)...blown white tiles would not have made much of a difference
