On Comments and Crits

Let's get something clear:
Since when did DA exist for hero worship? Since when did we have to bow down and worship at the feet of every goddam deviation by every goddam artist we watch? Since when are crits taken as insults? Did I miss some community annoucement that forbids crits and insists we say
"like omfg, gorgeous!"
"beautiful shot and beautiful composition"
"you work is incredible"
and on and on and on.

As far as I knew, DA is for crits and compiments. Its here to share our work and improve it. If you don't want crits change the fucking thing on the comment box to say - you dont want crits, or else dont get your panties in a bunch if someone dares to try and help you with a crit to improve your work.
For goddsake get the fuck over yourselves. I'd bet that 99% are NOT the next David Lynch, Syliva Plath or whoever it is that is your hero. 90% of you are camera happy kids like me. So get over yourselves and take a crit or fuck off.

And that is my opinion of DA and comments. Don't like it? Ask me to remove you from my watch list or else quit the bitching sunshine.

Who cares!! everyone has his own needs and expectations. Most of the time, we want people to say want we want to hear. I have learned that virtual communities are good for learning and no ore than that. If you expect recognition you've better seek it in the real world.
